Well, it was another fairly slow day highlighted by another valuable piece of the Vikings offense skipping town.  So, I figured I would try to fill some space by answering some of the questions I saw in the comments section of the last few posts: Fran The Man Asks:  You don’t think much Ian Johnson or Albert Young, Adam? Actually, If I were the Vikings G.M. (I love that fantasy) I would be content with Johnson and Young battling it out for the #2 spot.  However, the bigger question is how the actual decision makers for this franchise feel about these two.  Perhaps the even bigger question is how does Brett Favre feel about these two?

As a “final 8″ team in this new uncapped year, the Vikings don’t look to be too active in free agency this offseason.

After signing running back Chester Taylor away from the Minnesota Vikings to a deal for 4 years and $12.5-million (($7-million guaranteed)), the Bears and Julius Peppers are in the process of finalizing a six-year deal to bring him to Chicago. It looks like 6 years and $72-million.
